Privacy Policy

Last updated June 2026

oakinfo.org is built to respect your privacy. The short version: we don’t want your data and we don’t track you.

What we collect

Nothing personal. The Site has no accounts, no sign-ups, no contact forms, and no advertising or third-party tracking or analytics. We do not collect, sell, or share personal information.

Your device

We store a single setting in your browser’s local storage — your light/dark theme preference — so the Site remembers it. It never leaves your device and you can clear it anytime in your browser settings. We don’t use cookies.

Hosting logs

The Site is static and hosted on Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify may automatically record standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. That processing is governed by Netlify’s own privacy policy.

Email

If you email us at oakinfo.org@gmail.com, we’ll have your message and address only to reply. We won’t add you to any list.

Children

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change accordingly.
